About Me (and dad)
I'm Tom's daughter, Suzy Repanich, and I'm carrying on with his business following his passing in December 2022.
Dad, Tom Richardson, was a retired biologist having worked over 35 years for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the Alaska Department of Fish and Game. He dealt in U.S. stamps and covers, specializing in duck, fish and wildlife conservation stamps and related collectibles for at least 45 years. After retiring from the US Fish and Wildlife Service in 1992 he settled down to buying and selling paper collectibles, especially duck stamps. I used to hear him tell customers he had given up hunting and was only hunting paper ducks.
I am delighted to have inherited his massive collection and am spending 4-5 hours a day sorting, organizing, selling and learning. In addition to duck stamps and prints, I'm working with used and mint US stamps, old covers, first day covers, space & aviation covers, first flight covers and more.
As for me, though I'll never have the deep knowledge that dad possessed, but I'm learning fast and enjoying all aspects of the business. I'm retired and spent most of my career as an office manager in engineering firms. My husband Nick and I have two daughters and three grandkids. I enjoy nature, birds, the mountains, camping, wildflowers and trout fishing.
I'm proud to be maintaining dad's 100% positive feedback rating www.ebay.com/usr/trducks on eBay and will always make it my goal to strive for that. Please contact me if you can't find what you are looking for, or have questions. I look forward to having you as a customer.
